Mine

They’re done playing around
Barely talk anymore
She likes him a lot
But doesn’t know about him.

Something is telling her to go for it
Hold your head high, even if just for a bit
She needs to see him
Just one more time
She needs to say something
But she can only rhyme.

Foot after foot she walks down that path
It seems so long, the time just won’t pass.

Kissing him just brings her to life.
When he calls her boo-boo, she just comes alive.

His hands how they fit,
So perfect in mine.

Shit! I mean hers,
Fuck that line!

Talent

Give me a topic,
tell me to go.
I’ll write you a poem,
I’ll never say no.
Give me a few,
I’ll be done in a bit.
I’m raring to go,
This is my shit.
Poems aren’t hard,
They come out like nothin.
Tell me I’m free, you ain’t bluffin.
I go and I go,
I feel so at peace.
When I write you a poem,
I’ll stay in one piece.

None

A poem without inspiration.
It comes straight from the heart.
It tells you all.

What you think.
What you feel.
It can tell you about you.

Without inspiration.
Or so you think.
But there is always inspiration,
In the deepest corner of your mind.

About midway through I found mine.
My inspiration for this was me.
I want to find me.

If I just sit and I write,
I come out to play.
Like a child looking at the rain,
I’ve found my sunny day.

My eyes come alive,
My heart skips a beat.

Only my poetry gives me the drive.

With this poem I am.
I am.
I don’t give a damn.
This makes me free.

Now I’m not going.
I’m trying to rhyme.
I’m becoming more conscious,
and less the inside.
I’m no longer speaking to me.
I’m focused not free.

Fuck it,
I’m done,
This isn’t the one.
I’ll come back to find me, with another sun.

Good

Taker her to class
Give her her shoes
Put on some music
She’s ready to lose.
Her legs and her arms
My how they ache
Dance is her passion
The dream she must shake
“You’re not good enough”
She says to herself
“Practice your stuff”
But it doesn’t help.
She finally says “NO!”
And gives all she’s got.
“You’re good enough; believe it or not”

Ugh I live!!!!!! How exciting,I literally stalk his youtube page daily. How much were the classes?

Lol I’m not sure how much they cost, it was long ago, but I’m sure you can find it somewhere. Google is the answer to life ;)

No one knows
She needs to shut up
He’s getting attached
She likes him a lot
Just friends they remain, She’s been through so much.
Love equals pain
She doesn’t wanna do it
But she keeps him amazed
The tip of her lips
The “I love you” is there
The nights they’re apart
She lies there awake
Thinking about the kisses she takes.
She gives up and stops
Doesn’t like him a lot
Lies
She breathes him in and at peace she soon feels
She likes him a lot
No, she does not
